Angels are mentioned nearly 300 times in the Bible. Although the exact number is not given, there are references to thousands and ten thousands of them. We do know former angels, demons, are about one-third of the created beings. Names and ranks are mentioned in various books of the Bible. Those worshipping at the throne, battling the demons, or assisting the heirs of salvation are the most highlighted.

There is a belief that we each have an angel assigned to us. I think many angels are sent and dispatched. Everything done and all events I know are observed by the spirit world. That realm is not standing idly by as spectators but is active and involved. Humans are more likely to observe from their recliners.

Those people even more aware of the spirit kingdom are more in tune and can be distracted with the five senses we can engage in the physical realm. All GOD created—the earth, the animals, angelic beings, and humans—were meant to move in harmony. All HE created HE meant for man to have dominion over.

Theologically we may differ in our role to command angels. Yet I Cor. 6:3 says we will judge angels. In order to judge we must carry some authority concerning their actions and assignments. The Book of Revelation gives many accounts of angels’ involvement in our world. There are movies, books, and reports of many angel interactions.

Although our desire to make them our focus or worship is idolatry and witchcraft, we need to know they are always with us to assist us to fulfill HIS purposes.

Whenever an angel comes to me, I speak first to the LORD. My question is, “Are they from you, oh GOD?” Whether they come in time of great suffering to battle and comfort or to nudge me, the “feeling” is the same. There is such a light and restful peace that pervades my every cell.

In the last several days, the LORD was unfolding some deep difficult things regarding assignments and another level of heart cleanse. I never strayed far from the WORD of GOD. I had to rest in the shadow of the ALMIGHTY. The picture was a kitten curled up between the throne of GOD and mercy seat of CHRIST. Seraphim worshiped. The breeze from their wings kept us refreshed.

No one likes their sleep interrupted. One of these last couple of nights, I felt a shaking of my right shoulder until I awoke. I knew one of my sons was there and needed me. I rolled over to ask what had happened. It was an angel telling me to get up. It was before 3 a.m., my usual watch. It was a pilgrimage through the rooms of my house and property. Psalms was being breathed and revealed. The promise, ”GOD will rescue you from every trap” kept being repeated.

GOD is tweaking and refining us like never before. We are moving and walking through and in places we never imagined. As you ascend to where GOD is taking you in your walk with HIM, may HE allow your spiritual eyes to be aware of all that HE has set in motion for you to win!!
