Heights of Hope
By: Hannah S. Hunter
Psalms 37:7a(NLT) “Be still in the presence of the LORD and wait patiently for him to act.”
For those of us who finally found our voice and have learned to roar in echo with the Lion of Judah this can be brutal. At times we have felt oppressed and restrained for so long that when we began with swift forward momentum a seemingly screeching halt can feel like defeat.
Recently I passed through a situation where I saw things occurring in the throne room and heaven’s courtroom. I was in the presence of some amazing dominion keepers in a gateway nation flanked by strongest demonic forces.
The verses before and after the above speak of struggle of HIS promised rescue all while feeling as evil and injustice is supreme. Immediately after the mission I found myself pulled aside and placed under the throne of the most high GOD.
For two days I was tucked in the foundation of this throne. I was enveloped in a fog of silky soft silver. Silver represents word of God, purity, divinity, salvation, truth, atonement, and redemption. All things I have asked God to deeply embed in my life. I never spoke a word while there.
Justice and righteousness are the foundation of this throne. In that time, I saw, heard, tasted, smelled, and felt justice. Do not ask me to describe that I just know He was imprinting it deep, deep in my spirit. Somewhere that nothing can touch.
At times I heard or saw movement. I would see one of the Trinity peek under the throne at me. The temperature and lighting were so perfect. I lacked for nothing. When I was lifted from that place I was tossed in the air as a father does to his child. What I saw is between me and Them, but I will tell you hope, and a future was all over it.
Trajectory immediately shifted. I found myself traveling back to USA for the holidays. This took stillness and patience! Everything was smoothly in place for me to arrive in my nation of birth.
I was merely a spectator as favor and support poured into the ministry and for me personally. Inheritance was a word They used in conversation with me. A business in the land of my inheritance stepped up through the efforts of a dear courageous sister donated funds for a great need in Kenya. People pledged support in the amount I had made a prayer point to my faithful warriors.
One of the days I was doing office work They asked me to sow to a ministry in Israel and two other ministries of apostles and prophets that are well known. Sometimes I have asked God does anyone see what I pass through in my assigned land. The very next day I got mail from one of the prophetic ministries I just donated to. I said, “Oh God it would be so nice if big ministries like this donated to small ministries such as myself.” The letter related how young people they were training came to the leader and felt they’re widows faithfully laboring in the field and support their ministry. They wanted us to know He sees us and felt they should bless us. Enclosed was a check for $100 marked widow blessing. All I could do was weep in awe.
Swoosh! The holidays were over, my mission done, and I was in JFK before sane people open their eyes. I approached check in when I was told too much weight and carry on for this flight. I Knew what the website said and am not a rookie in packing. I was given an amount of $200. The voice came back to roar. I kindly asserted what was on this website. In the end the young man pushed it all through for free. I shook his hand and told him GOD would bless him for giving favor to a prophet of Africa.
Next, I encountered precious ladies on a mission to Kenya. They are fellow Hopewellers and one her grandfather was my dad’s employer. She was a widow for a year. As we waited at the gate, I encouraged her and heard her heart. We exchanged contact information. At the Nairobi airport I was able to introduce this team to my beloved Kenyan son, Dan who is always so gracious.
Smooth as silk and heights of hope took me through visa process, customs, and six-hour ride to our base. Peace settled deeper into every cell with each hour.
Weariness and traveler’s diarrhea are my momentary portion, but that cannot pull me down from the heights of hope. Be still beloved ones.
